Internet retailer sees success with own delivery team
KAD Group combats customer reservations of poor service from internet retailers by excelling in own home delivery service.
The internet retailer, serving over 30,000 customers per year, launched its own delivery fleet of branded vans and trained staff 2 years ago after deciding other carriers just wouldn’t do.
The service, which is continuing to grow due to growth in sales, offers customers fully trained, professional and uniformed staff in branded, Mercedes Sprinter and Renault vehicles. The service allows heavy and fragile goods, such as ceramic sinks, to be delivered safely to the customer.
Home delivery service is a unique service in the industry; double packaging all goods before dispatch, delivering the goods safely and carrying out a full goods inspection with the customer before leaving, come as standard.
