How about to the moon and back… twice? Or, to put it a different way: 1 million miles. That is what our Home Delivery Service team have clocked up in just 4 short years.
Set up in 2008, the team was created in order to ensure that large, heavy, and fragile items – such as ceramic sinks – reach our customers in perfect condition.
Initially consisting of 2 drivers and 2 vans, the team have since expanded to 4 drivers and 4 vans.
On the road 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year, the team travel to all corners of the UK mainland. Far from being an ordinary courier service, our delivery drivers deliver each shipment of purchased items, and then stay with the customer, to fully inspect the order to ensure that everything is correct and in perfect condition.
They may not have actually reached the moon just yet (no easy task in a van full of appliances), but they are certainly out there doing all they can to help our customers, and we really appreciate all of their hard work.
